NEWLYWED CATS OF THE USSR

I just saw this for the first time, and had to share it. A FAMILY CHRONICLE (1961). Called "a Fairy Tale for Adults", it 's about a dispute between newlywed cats, in a very mid-century milieu. Excellent in every way. I'll keep my eye out for more post-1960 Soyuzmultfilms.

very unique, and very Russian! I really like a lot of the animation, and the orange BG in the house is very striking. It's a little weird, but the cartoon "smells" like my grandparents house! My grandparents were Russian immigrants so it makes more sense. "Reminds" might be a better word, but I really do get a feeling of smell. Anyhow, thanks for sharing!
