Well,
the opening wasn't exactly bursting the rafters, but there was a steady
stream of people who expressed fascination. "I am transfixed by this
one", someone said about an abstract. Then the pair bantered about not
paying this or that bill to buy it. Everyone that came had a different
favorite, which is good. Means I'm not "bad" at anything I'm trying. Suddenly with the good
lighting, my brush strokes made more sense. And the nudes met with a
much more appreciative response than they did in L.A., where everyone
was frightened or offended. It was a good night.
