JAPANESE CARTOON MUSIC MYSTERY RECORD

In a record store yesterday, I happened upon this 45, which sounds like music for a 1960s Japanese comedy cartoon. According to Charles A. Brubaker, the label says "Warabe Uta Melody", which means "Nursery Rhyme Melody".I'm hoping someone out there recognizes the music.

Side 1: "Baa Baa Black Sheep" theme.

Side 2: Chase theme.

wow thats awesome! I saw a little box set of japanese 45's at the thrift store today with a nice painted cover. I passed it up, but I think I must make a trip downtown tomorrow. Maybe it'll be cartoon music too!

BTW, thanks so much for the old Japanese cartoons you have posted. They fascinate me! They seem to be in the same vein as the old American toons, but are also so different.
