REBEL SKUNK DRAWINGS

Midnite was the star of a series I created in 1986; the publisher went out of business at the halfway point. I'm still fond of the character, and if I have my way, you'll be seeing more of her one day.

Today's cartoon is from Argentina: EL MONO RELOJERO (The Watchmaker's Monkey), 1938. An Art Deco-styled cartoon by Quirino Cristiani, pioneer who made the world's first animated feature, EL APOSTOL, in 1917! (Click pic.)

Be good or Midnite will get you, MK

Hey, Milton - Great to see you putting this Blog together. Your stuff is always so full of energy, skill & fun. It's a delight to see your sketches as well as finished Art on a Blog. (I think it's easier to browse than a website & I've done both) Ok, what I mean is, that this is a Great Blog!!
